Artist Biography
Grace
Munakata uses paint and collage to create visual poetry. Meaning
exists in the continuing flux of the fragments she uses to
create the whole. By hinting at recognizable imagery and never
completely revealing the source, her paintings function as
visual metaphors, creating a dialogue between the work and
the viewer.
